Regular Price: Choose this price if your fees will be paid or reimbursed, in whole or in part, by your organization (or other funding agency).

*Discounted Price: Choose this price if your fees will NOT be paid or reimbursed, in whole or in part, by your organization (or other funding agency.

**Student Price: Choose this price if you are enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program at an accredited institution, and your annual income is less than US$50,000. You will be asked to provide a student ID or other proof of enrollment.

    Financial Inclusion

    The deadline for scholarship requests was May 31, but we are continuing to invite requests in case additional funds become available.

    Registration discounts are prioritized for individuals living in the ‘global south’ whose fees are not paid or reimbursed by their employer or other organization. Partial scholarships are generally awarded for in-person registration. We make awards as funding becomes available, and we may not be able to support everyone who makes a request.

    EPIC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization powered by members and volunteers. Conference fees and sponsorship do not cover all of our expenses, and organizing events always brings financial risk. Our constant goal is to make our policies as fair and ethical as possible (we kind of agonize over it), and we hope you will understand them in this light.

    Refund Policy

    • EPIC membership and donations are non-refundable. If you need to cancel registration to attend EPIC2024 in Los Angeles, you will retain your membership, which includes access to Learning & Networking Week online and the Main Program livestream.
    • You may cancel conference registration and conference dinner tickets for a full refund, less a 15% service charge, through July 1, 2024. No refunds will be available thereafter, but you may transfer your registration and/or dinner tickets to someone else through August 1, 2024.
    • You may cancel tutorial registrations for a full refund through May 1, 2024. No refunds for tutorial registrations will be available thereafter.
    • Please Note: Cancellations made more than 60 days after your registration date may not be refunded to the original payment method and may take 30-60 days to refund via check or ACH.

    Transfers

    • You may make arrangements to transfer your conference registration and/or conference dinner tickets to someone else. You must notify us of the transfer by August 1 to ensure the transferee can gain access.
    • If there is a waitlist and we are able to arrange a transfer for you, we will issue a refund to you for the ticket(s) transferred, less a $30 service charge.
